album review: Daft Punk - TRON: Legacy soundtrack

Author Photo: kyle Best soundtrack I have ever listened to.

Now, I might be biased because I like electronic music, but come on. This album is ridiculous. It so perfectly suits the TRON environment and mood it is absurd.
You know when you were a kid, and you run around with a friend, pretending you're in the future saving the world? Remember those slow motion, superiorly enthralling, climactic moments? Remember the amazing sounds and music that would play in your head during those moments? This album is like that. But better. A lot better.

If I ever encounter a moment in time where the world somehow depends on my actions, this soundtrack will be playing in my head.

i havent heard much and probably wont have much opinion on the soundtrack, but i think the 8bit music of the original movie makes more sense.

The contrast between the first TRON and this one is many. Computers and circuitry have exponentially deviated since the 80s. I think the move away from the 8bit music was wise and necessary.

I listened to the soundtrack once but haven't been compelled to listen again. I liked it though. Daft Punk's Alive 2007 record is one of my favs ever.

the soundtrack is okay, there are about 4 songs. the rest is just the same song with maybe one little thing changed.

"Castor" is my favorite song in the album and "Son Of Flynn" has a Jean Michel Jarreness to it I really enjoyed those two songs.

But when you're watching the movie it's different i think.
