Posts: Video Games / bad company 2 demo

i downloaded it and played it for all of 30 seconds. it already impressed me more than bad company 1 but i havent had a chance to fiddle with it since.  apparently the demo is getting pulled from the playstation network on the 25th so if you want to try the demo...do it now.

That's funny 'cause I just re-found the first movie a day ago and told myself that I have to watch it again. I didn't get far into the movie for some reason, but I knew the opening song kicked ass.

I got the beta on the PC and I have to say it's one of, if not the, best FPS I've ever played. Only thing to complain about is lack of prone position, the usual BF2 restricted zones (die if you leave perimeter stuff) and restricted class types. But overall, it's pretty damn amazing. Runs really well on my PC which is in the B to B+ range in terms of performance, and I run at 1440x900 and high settings. I really like the physics of the game. Takes into account for gravity for bullets, real time delays for shot to hit, and all that jazz.

Tried the PS3 demo last night and really enjoyed it.  Physics engine is awesome (knocking trees down is strangely satisfying|).  My only complaint is the way the objectives are communicated is still very traditional (giant flashing "A" and "B" icons on screen constantly gets annoying).   



I can see myself buying this on Steam if it goes on sale or a used PS3 copy if I see one.  Depends on which version the rest of you hooligans go for.

i played the demo a bit but didnt really have time enough to decide how i liked it. i wish i had 60 bucks to spend on something that i might not like, but im tired of buying games that arent as good as cod4.

even mw2 seemed awesome at first, but the more i played it the more i realized that mw1 was the better game.
