about 5 or 6 years ago, some dude named dylan from some website i used to frequent told me about some band from quebec called arcade fire - from that point on, i've been a fan - and i consider their 2005 show at the danforth music hall one of the best i've been to.
after missing out on a show here and there at massey hall because i was either too busy or too poor at the time, i finally had a chance to see them this past weekend at olympic island - and they were fucking awesome again.
of course, this time they played for only one and a half hours, compared to the marathon 3 hour set they displayed at danforth mh.
i still haven't heard the new album in full - haven't downloaded much new music at all since soulseek crapped out on me about 2 or 3 years ago. anyway, for those who care enough to click i snuck my camera into the show and snapped a few pics which can be viewed here:
