Anyone growing up in the 80's knows of Stephen J. Cannell. He pretty much owned the tv broadcasts with his blend of action/mystery. He owned so much TV time with Rockford Files, A-Team, Greatest American Hero, Hunter, Riptide, Hardcastle and McCormick that Glen Larson barely had enough to fit in his sci-fi shows, Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.

It truly is the end of an era. CUE THE TYPEWRITER
