Just a lifestyle change my friends and I thought was necessary for ourselves.. So far so good. Everything is great in Chicago and it is definitely one of the top cities to visit in the USA. Out of the northern states it's definitely one of the most hospitable and the layout is as if New York and Philadelphia had a child. We live about a mile from the tall buildings but our area seems small town with a flavor of city. It's great without SHiNEY and Shunoob! (Just kidding). But there's so much to do in the city and I'm meeting great people everywhere I go. No complaints until I feel the winter they have here... but I hear it doesn't go full swing til about Feb.
