Has anyone played it yet. The gameplay looks amazing. I'm not a huge fan of cell-shaded graphics but this looks pretty polished.

Everything I've heard about it tells me to play it with other people. Much like left 4 dead. If anyone else gets Borderlands on Steam, let me know.

Looked like an AA game to me (8.0-8.9) and that's what it's been scoring. It does look like it'd be fun for coop, but as much as I like coop, it's a pain in the ass to shepherd enough internet personalities together at one time to actually play on a regular basis, which means that I'd only play it once in a while and that's just not worth 60 bones.

I only buy AAA games at retail these days since they cost so much. But Dylan has been wearing me down on buying some regular titles on Steam because of all the sales.

i saw the commercial for this yesterday but didnt know what i was looking at really. looks like it has a lot of potential. i like games that dont take themselves too seriously.

I'm thinking that Left 4 Dead 2 is going to eat this game alive, however both are probably worth playing.

I'm still holding strong that L4D2 will be game of the year in many critic's eyes.

Speaking of co-op, apparently Killing Floor will be free this weekend on steam. From what I have heard, it's definitely worth checking out. Shawn Elliott highly recommends.

I have three coworkers that play this game together pretty much every night. Probably buy it next weekend.

It's sad that all those Windows Live promises of cross-platform play went mostly belly-up. Shadowrun (and maybe command and conquor?) are the only games that come to mind that supported it.
