It's strange to me because girls are known for their socialization powers. I wonder if girls just prefer the face-to-face while a phone is more like a ... call from far away - such as a hunting call or quick whoop? Er, just trying to relate it biologically.

This is dumb and obvious. Also I don't buy the socialization angle. Boys aren't taught to be more creative with technology. They ARE more creative technology. Nobody told me, implicitly or explicitly, to do any of the boy-centric things I did, and that's going to be generally true for any guy you meet. And girls don't need to be taught to be more like boys in this regard either. If they're interested, then they'll do it naturally just like boys do. This movement to make girls and boys the same while ignoring inherent differences in ability and inclination is retarded.
