Infinity Ward vs Activision Square Off in Team Deathmatch

http://www.idiotechnica.com/data/users/2009/01/04/1/user_albums/16/modern-warfare-2_5cgf99.jpg Apparently the duo responsible for the record setting video game Modern Warfare 2 and is predecessors are not getting along so well.

There is speculation that Activision is determined to get possession of the Modern Warfare title rights as Infinity Ward apparently has them.

If IW doesn't want to do a Modern Warfare 3, Activision probably does and needs another developer...hence, they need those rights.

looks like infinity ward has been kicked out of the call of duty franchise. Activision has brought in the Sledgehammer (Dead Space) studio to take over the franchise's next release. Rumors say it might be a call of duty in space thingamafridge.
