Beta is a fancy schmancy technical term that means: We do not want to take any responsibility for the quality of our software at this time. Idiotechnica will always be in beta.

Shroud Of Turin Debunked...Again

http://www.idiotechnica.com/data/users/2009/01/04/1/user_albums/16/ShroudofTurin_pbtqyh.jpg More scientific evidence that shows that the supposed burial cloth of Jesus, aka the Shroud Of Turin is still as fake as it ever was. I thought they got rid of this thing years ago. The article basically states that Luigi Garlaschelli goes out of his way to show how the shroud could have been made using the technology of the middle ages. The shroud had already been carbon dated to that time, so its really just a confirmation overkill to reprove that its a fake.

I myself would like to point out that pairing every dead guy ever with his favorite blanket will never in itself be proof of a god. why do these people cling to their relics?

Researchers said Wednesday for the first time they have found what they believe to be pieces of a burial shroud from the time of Jesus.

The find is of importance because tests on the shroud and the body it wrapped revealed the earliest proven case of leprosy in the Old City of Jerusalem.

And in addition, the weave of the shroud raises fresh doubts about the Shroud of Turin, which many people believe was used to wrap the body of Jesus...
